Hungry Shark Evolution is the follow-up to the highly successful iPhone and iPad title of the same name. After spending some time with the first game, I have to say that I am very disappointed. Not only was it not as exciting as the prior, but it seemed like a step back in graphics quality. I can’t help but compare it to Sonic and Mario at the same point in their development, but both games have far exceeded Nintendo’s expectations. Sonic and Mario were revolutionary, and this game falls somewhere in between.
The story of Hungry Shark Evolution follows a man named Arlen Bales, who stumbles upon a mysterious underwater facility that is experimenting with genetically altered fish. Upon seeing what appears to be a distress beacon attached to one of the fish, he jumps in to save the fish before being swallowed whole. What happens next will leave you confused, as the island seems to be out of control. There are many things for you to do as you fight your way through the Facility, and the storyline seems to develop around each area. It gets really interesting when you find out who is behind the scenes, and you learn how the facility intends to harvest the ocean life for a Profit.
You can expect to earn a lot of money from playing this game, and it is possible to buy an HD version of the game for a reasonable price. If you don’t want to spend a great deal of money on buying the version that came preinstalled on your iPhone or iPad, you can always download the Hungry Shark Evolution Game Review on Wii, PC, or Xbox 360. The game is available on all three platforms, so there’s no reason not to play it. It’s a good idea to check it out on other platforms as well because the gameplay is quite different from the others.
When you first start the game you have a few different options. These are to do with feeding the fish, which is what you do throughout the rest of the game. Each fish has a certain level of patience, they need to have before they will actually eat. When you press the fish to make them go for a bite, you are given a time-based interval.
After you press the fish the screen will turn green, and then you will see what kind of items are available for purchase. The basic items are the same between platforms. You can purchase shells, which make noise when they are hit. These are a good choice if you like shelling, but it doesn’t seem that everybody is as interested in getting into this particular game.
The second option is to buy the crates, which sell for a lot more in comparison to the basic ones. This is the route that I would recommend taking because these crates give you a lot more for your money. You can also get items that are exclusive to that system. These are great as you can’t get them anywhere else.
The game is very fun to play. It’s challenging, and at times it can feel like you’re really sinking. It can be frustrating at times, but once you master it, you’ll find that you’re able to get through the levels quite quickly. The overall score that you get when you beat the stage is very high, considering how short it is.
The storyline is interesting and will keep you entertained. I’m not sure how much you will enjoy it, but once you start playing, you won’t be able to stop. The game is available for free on the Play Store, so you should definitely check it out. If you like action games and have enjoyed other titles such as Grand Theft Auto and Manhunt, you will love this game.
